Astrological Birth Details: To generate precision calculations, we collect your date of birth, time of birth, and place of birth.
Saved Profiles: If you save profiles for friends and family in the app, this data is saved to enable quick calculations.
Account Information: When you authenticate using Google or Apple Sign-In, we collect your basic profile details (such as name and email address) and your unique account identifiers.

B. Device and Location Data

Location Data: DAXHA requests access to your device's high-precision GPS coordinates. This is required locally to calculate timezone-accurate planetary transits, Abhijit Muhurthas, local planetary alignments, and sunrise/sunset timings.

C. Technical and Usage Information

AI Interactions: When you converse with our AI Mentor or use system analysis tools, the queries you input (text or audio recordings) are sent to the Google Gemini API (via our secure backend) to formulate responses.
Diagnostics and Performance Data: We may collect anonymous crash reports and performance telemetry to monitor system health and resolve software issues.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to operate, maintain, and improve the services of DAXHA, specifically:

To perform real-time astrological calculations and energetic calibrations.
To synchronize your profile data across multiple devices.
To generate personalized AI insights and run conversational chat sessions.
To process subscriptions and premium feature transactions.
To deliver local notifications for transit updates, temporal windows, and alerts.

3. Data Storage, Security, and Third-Party Services

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties. We utilize industry-standard security measures and partner with reputable third-party services to handle specific processing tasks:

Supabase: We use Supabase for secure cloud storage of user profiles, authentication, and secure Edge Function invocation.
Google Gemini API: Astrological queries and chat inputs are processed via the Google Gemini API to generate intelligent insights.
Stripe, Razorpay, and RevenueCat: For processing payments, managing subscription tiers, and handling billing securely. Your payment information is processed directly by these providers and is never stored on our servers.

4. Data Retention and Deletion (Your Rights)

You have full control over your data.

GDPR & CCPA Rights: Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, update, or restrict the use of your personal data.
Account & Data Deletion: You can request the deletion of all data associated with your profile at any time. This can be performed directly within the app settings by using the "Delete Account" feature, which permanently removes your profile and associated data from our database.
